This project seeks to examine the influence of modelling assumptions on fMRI data interpretations (such as haemodynamic response function and temporal autocorrelation). There has recently been renewed interest to examining the robustness of fMRI analyses. In the first instance, the project will consider variations in parameter settings for popular fMRI analysis software: AFNI, FSL and SPM in both resting state and task-based datasets. Future work will consider how to make principled decisions with respect to parameter choices, both in healthy and clinical research datasets.
