This exciting one-day educational meeting arranged by the International Cancer Microbiome Consortium (ICMC) and held at the Royal Society of Medicine (London) on the 5^th of September 2017 will bring together international experts in the microbiome and cancer to deliver educational talks on cutting-edge science. This meeting is aimed at clinicians and scientists with an interest in the microbiome and talks will equip attendees with an understanding of the science underpinning this area as well as translational aspects of microbiome research with a focus on, but not limited to, cancer.  There are a number of internationally renowned speakers from Europe and the USA covering the microbiome angle on an array of topics including GI cancer, ageing, urology, women’s health, diet, the lung and surgery.

Attendees are encouraged to submit an abstract of their research / audit / quality improvement project related to the microbiome and/or oncology for presentation in poster format and the opportunity to win prizes.
