The EPSRC Centre for Mathematical Imaging in Healthcare (CMIH) held its third Industry engagement day on the 17th October 2018. The event provided an update on some of the research projects and collaborations taking place in the CMIH. It featured presentations from CMIH researchers and Industry Partners and a number of industry challenges and potential new collaborations were highlighted in an elevator pitch session.

The event was of interest to researchers working in the field of acquisition and analysis of clinical imaging and also to healthcare planners, clinicians, policy makers and industry partners to discuss the research projects and challenges arising from the area. It presented the opportunity for knowledge exchange and networking between senior scientists from areas such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics and biomedicine and relevant individuals from industry and government. There was a great deal of discussion and networking taking place around the poster session during the conference breaks.

The event was held at the Isaac Newton Institute and was delivered by the Turing Gateway to Mathematics. The full programme and recorded talks are available from the TGM website.
