On Wednesday 2nd May we held our annual ‘Developments in Healthcare Imaging – Connecting with Academia’ event.  The event brought together academics working on advances in imaging technology with researchers who investigate new image analysis methods, to help address current challenges.

This was hosted by the TGM, in partnership with the Liverpool Centre for Mathematical Sciences in Healthcare (LCMH).  Sessions were chaired by the LCMH, the CMIH, and the Medical Image Analysis Network (MedIAN), and also saw a session of short ‘elevator pitches’ from partners and other EPSRC funded Maths in Healthcare Centres, which were complemented by a poster session running through lunch.
