Co-Director John Aston appointed as new Home Office Chief Scientific Adviser

Our Co-Director John Aston will soon be taking on a new role as Chief Scientific Adviser to the Home Office.  John will be taking over this post from Professor Bernard Silverman on September 4th, and the new role will see him ensuring decisions within the home office are informed by the best scientific evidence and advice.  Further information can be found in the Home Office press release; https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-home-office-chief-scientific-adviser-appointed

John will continue working with the centre alongside his new role, however will be reducing his responsibility, with Carola Schönlieb taking on full directorship of the centre.
