Professor Carola Schönlieb, Director of the CMIH, has been awarded the prestigious Calderon Prize from The Inverse Problems International Association (IPIA) at the Applied Inverse Problems (AIP2019) conference in Grenoble.
The Calderon Prize is given to a researcher under the age of 40 who has made distinguished contributions to the field of inverse problems. As part of the prize Prof. Schönlieb gave a Plenary Lecture at the conference titled ‘From shallow to deep learning for inverse imaging problems: some recent approaches’.
