The CMIH held its second user engagement day on October 18th 2017. The event provided an opportunity for attendees to find out more about the work of the centre a and users of clinical imaging data, and for new collaborations to be developed.
This user engagement day provided an update on some of the research being carried out and featured presentations from CMIH Industry Partners, including GSK and Toshiba Medical Visualization Systems, each of whom chaired sessions. A number of industry challenges and potential new collaborations were highlighted in an elevator pitch session, with short presentations from Lightpoint Medical, IoLight, GE Healthcare and MedImmune, as well a short talk from MedIAN. A poster exhibition ran during the lunch and the networking session. The last session focused on work from the CMIH, with talks from Raj Jena, Yuan Huang and Angelica I. Aviles-Rivero. The event was followed by a wine reception and networking.
The event was delivered by the Turing Gateway to Mathematics and the full programme, including recordings from many of the talks, can be found on the TGM website
